PURPOSE: A cellular phone having a Hangul input function via a flip cover, is provided to execute the Hangul input function by arraying consonants and vowels of the Hangul on a flip cover. CONSTITUTION: A cellular phone having a Hangul input function via a flip cover protecting a key pad, arrays the Hangul characters on the flip cover, separated into a consonant group and a vowel group. A key board of the groups is arranged in terms of a consonant/vowel order, further neighboring related consonants. Each key input is combined with a body of the cellular phone electrically. A key board of the flop cover is included editing keys. The cellular phone is composed of a key scanner(47) and micro controller(48). The key scanner(47) delivers information on a row and a column to the micro controller(48), detecting a key input from the key boards of the key pad/flip cover. The micro controller(48) translates a program for driving the cellular phone, to control full devices of the cellular phone electrically, based on the key input from the key boards.
