PURPOSE: A method is provided to improve screen white of a color cathode ray tube. CONSTITUTION: A screen white of a color cathode ray tube is improved by varying R, G, B pixel in a face panel, by measuring the stabilized amount at a 2/3 point of a shadow mask and at a point of 30 mm, and also measuring the forward doming amount and the reverse doming amount at a 2/3 point of the shadow mask, and then calculating a pre-compensation design amount, and by reflecting the calculated pre-compensation design amount to the curvature of an exposing lens.
