PURPOSE: An editing recorder building a scratch sound therein is provided to entirely control a recording audio signal level when an ALC(Automatic Level Control) circuit is turned off, and to record a mixture of an audio signal and the scratch sound, so as to improve a recording/reproducing sound quality. CONSTITUTION: A level controller(200) is installed between a Dolby circuit(100) and an ALC(Automatic Level Control) circuit(400). The level controller(200) is driven in a state of being scratch sound-edited in a microcomputer(30). In a scratch sound editing state of the microcomputer(30), the Dolby circuit(100) becomes a normal state, and the ALC circuit(400) is turned off. The level controller(200) entirely controls an audio signal mixed with a scratch sound, and controls entire levels by adjusting the levels to a reference input level of a recording amplifier(300).
