PURPOSE: A reproduction method using code information of an optical disk system is provided to add the code information distinguished according to data attributes to header areas of a data bit stream in a recorded data editing process. Therefore, required contents or required units are quickly searched to be repeatedly reproduced by using attribute code information in a reproducing process. CONSTITUTION: If a reproducing is started, an optical disk system reads attribute codes recorded in each header area in a re-editing process, and classifies the attribute codes according to attributes, then stores the classified codes in a memory. If a repetitive reproduction key is inputted, the system stores time data relating to a present reproduction location, and displays stored attribute code information and location information. If an attribute code selection key signal is inputted, the system searches a location relating to a selected attribute code, and decides whether repetitive reproduction frequencies are inputted within a predetermined time. If so, the system stores the inputted repetitive frequencies. If the frequencies are not inputted, the system stores the repetitive reproduction frequencies one time. The system performs a repetitive reproduction as many as the stored frequencies. If the repetitive reproduction is completed, the system returns to a previous location before the repetitive reproduction, by referring to time data relating to the present reproduction location, and performs the reproduction.
