METHOD FOR DISPLAYING CURRENT BROADCASTING PROGRAM IN DIGITAL TELEVISION

PURPOSE: A method for displaying a current broadcasting program in a digital television is provided to set up reserved information of a current broadcasting program and tune a corresponding channel by using EPG(Electronic Program Information) data. CONSTITUTION: A method for displaying a current broadcasting program in a digital television comprises the steps of: checking whether a viewing request for a current broadcasting program is input, or not; generating and arranging a list of the current broadcasting program if the viewing request for the current broadcasting program is input; and displaying the arranged EPG menu. As the current broadcasting program is formed as a main menu by using a system timer, a user shows easily the current or the next broadcasting programs.
