METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MEASURING CURVATURE OF SHEET IN ONLINE USING ONE-DIMENSIONAL CHARGE COUPLED DEVICE

PURPOSE: A method and a device for measuring the curvature of a sheet in online by using one-dimensional CCD(charge couple device) are provided to detect the curvature of a steel sheet in a rolling process for stopping the operation and for applying proper management in case of the curvature exceeding a limit. CONSTITUTION: When a steel sheet(4) passes through an upper and lower rolling mill(1,2), the curvature(H) of the steel sheet is measured by using one-dimensional CCD. Herein, result of the measurement is inputted to a digital treating apparatus for converting the value into a digital signal. Then, the digital signal is inputted to a computer for the signal to be converted into a real value by using software. Therefore, the curvature of the steel sheet is continuously calculated to control.
