摘要 PURPOSE: A differential global positioning system(DGPS) is provided to maximumly utilize a high speed communication environment and an information processing environment, by maximumly sharing a circuit between a GPS receiver and a mobile station. CONSTITUTION: A differential global positioning system(DGPS) comprises a handset(300) and a position setup server. The handset converts a first signal received from a satellite and a second signal received from the position setup server into digital signals. The handset selectively transmits the digitally-converted signals to the position setup server according to a control signal. The position setup server receives data from the handset, and finds an exact position of the handset. The handset comprises a GPS receiver(310) and a mobile station(320). The GPS receiver converts signals of the satellite into digital signals of a baseband. The mobile station controls the GPS receiver, and selects one of the digitally-converted signals and the signals output from the GPS receiver. The mobile station transmits the selected signals to the position setup server. The GPS receiver comprises a first antenna(311), an amplifier(312), a mixer(313), and a first converter(314). The first antenna receives the signals from the satellite. The amplifier amplifies the received signals. The mixer converts the amplified signals into baseband signals. The first converter converts the baseband signals into digital signals.
