METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SHAPE IN SENDZIMIR MILL

PURPOSE: A control method of shape in a Sendzimir mill is provided to prevent occurrence of meandering and to elevate stability in working. CONSTITUTION: A present shape of a steel plate to be rolled is detected by using a shape detector in the direction of steel plate discharge among a first shape detector and a second shape detector. The shape value measured from the first and the second shape detectors is received in a control unit and classified to a representative shape pattern. Based on the representative pattern classified result, the positions of top-crown-rollers of a Sendzimir mill are calculated.
