发明名称 METHOD FOR REFINING ELECTRIC FURNACE FOR PRODUCTION OF LOW PHOSPHOR HIGH CARBON MOLTEN STEEL
摘要 PURPOSE: A method for reducing in an electric furnace is provided to produce molten steel of low phosphor and high carbon including phosphor less than 0.02wt% by stabilizing chemically unstable phosphor compound in a high carbon region. CONSTITUTION: 0.8-2wt% of calcined dolomite to the total charge amount is input to an electric furnace where 15-40wt% of slag of previous working is remains. The furnace is tilted and the slag is coated on the furnace wall. 1.5-2wt% of quick lime for protecting the furnace body is input. Scrap iron and hot metal are charged into the furnace. The hot metal in the furnace is melted and quick lime and sintered ore are input simultaneously. For 30-70% of total melting time, quick lime, calcined dolomite and sintered ore are input dividedly. Around 80% of melting time, a small amount of quick lime and calcined dolomite are input. Thereby, reduction for producing low phosphor high carbon molten steel is completed.
