PIEZOELECTRIC CERAMICS COMPOSITION FOR ULTRASONIC VIBRATOR

PURPOSE: A piezoelectric ceramics composition is provided which shows high piezoelectric constant and curie temperature at the same time and improves mechanical quality coefficient largely compared to the preexisting piezoelectric materials. CONSTITUTION: In the piezoelectric ceramics composition for an ultrasonic vibrator, the composition is Pb_1-xCdx£(Ni1/3Nb2/3)0.25Zr0.35Ti0.40|O3 wherein the variable x is ranged from 0 to 0.02 as a molar ratio and 0.3-0.7wt% of a manganese dioxide is added as an additive. Thereby, it shows high practicality as the ultrasonic vibrator due to the improved physical quality.
