发明名称 METHOD FOR PRODUCING STAINLESS STEEL WITH EXTREMELY LOW CARBON BY CONTROLLING SLAG
摘要 PURPOSE: A method is provided to easily produce a stainless steel with extremely low carbon by controlling the composition and the characteristic of decarbonized slag in the producing process of the stainless steel using AOD(argon oxygen decarbonization). CONSTITUTION: One of Si and Al or the both materials are added to a slag as a reducing agent and agitated for reducing a chrome oxide generated in a decarbonizing process. Then, fluorspar is added for 7wt% of the amount of quick lime in the slag for agitating molten metal. Therefore, the decarbonizing reaction by slag is promoted while reducing the pickup of carbon. Herein, the decarbonizing efficiency is improved and the pickup of carbon is repressed by adjusting the composition and the physical characteristic of slag by adding silicon or aluminum in an AOD scouring while adding a small amount of fluorspar.
