PURPOSE: A steel frame structure prepared with an end plate is provided to properly distribute stress generated at a connection part between a charge steel pipe pillar and a steel frame beam. CONSTITUTION: An end plate(300) is attached to a charge steel pipe pillar(100) with a bolt(330), and inner side faces of a reinforcing material(320) formed on the end plate are welded in a flange(201) of a steel frame beam(200). The connection position where the bolts are connected is based on the position of a bolt hole formed on a base plate(310). The connected bolts are finished in a slightly protruded shape on an inside face of the charge steel pipe pillar(100). The base plate(310) of the end plate reacts similarly with the existing diaphragm, transfers stress of the steel frame beam and functions as a resistance against the deformation of the charge steel pipe pillar. Further, when a whim moment is given to the connection part, the reinforcing material strongly connects by enlarging a ground pressure area.
