PURPOSE: A semiconductor device is provided to secure a stability at transferring a signal or data, and to perform a high-speed operation by forming an auxiliary driving circuit at a signal or data line. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor device comprises a first master driver(1) and a second master driver(2) which are connected through a pair of global input/output lines(gio,giob). A first slave driver is connected to the global input/output line(gio), and consists of three inverters(10,11,32), two NMOS transistors(33,34), two PMOS transistors(P1,P2) and a delay(7). The PMOS transistor(P1) whose gate is grounded has a channel formed between a power supply voltage and the line(gio), and the PMOS transistor(P2) whose channel is formed between the power supply voltage and the line(gio) has a gate connected to receive a signal on the line(gio) through the delay(7) and the serially-connected inverters(10,11). The channels of the transistors(33,34) are formed in series between the line(gio) and a ground voltage. The gate of the transistor(33) is connected to the line(gio) through the inverter(32), and the gate of the transistor(34) is connected to receive a signal on the line(gio) through the delay(7). A second slave driver is connected to the global input/output line(giob), and consists of three inverters(12,13,35), two NMOS transistors(36,37), two PMOS transistors(P3,P4) and a delay(8). The second slave driver have the same circuit configuration as the first slave driver.
