REMAKING METHOD FOR RECYCLING CRANKSHAFT

PURPOSE: A remaking method for recycling a crankshaft is provided to remake a waste crankshaft as one forming a coating layer excellent in abrasion resistance. CONSTITUTION: To recycle a defective or worn crankshaft, WC-25Co alloy powder having a particle size of 40-60 micrometers is coated over the crankshaft of an internal combustion engine as coating alloy powder. After that, a Ni/Fe amorphous coating alloy is coated secondarily and the crankshaft is treated by heat to eliminate residual stress for the improvement in rupture strength. Through the processes, the crankshaft is remade.
