WIDE-BAND LINEAR AMPLIFIER CIRCUIT

PURPOSE: A wide-band linear amplifier circuit is provided to generate a frequency of a several-thousand MHz band necessary to realize an IMT-200. CONSTITUTION: A wide-band linear amplifier circuit comprises a frequency characteristic block(102) which compensates a frequency characteristic of a signal source. A wide-band input matching block(104) performs a wide-band impedance matching between an input signal and a field effect transistor of an amplification block(106). The amplification block(106) amplifies the matched input signal in a predetermined gain range to generate an output signal having several-thousand MHz frequency band. A first compensating part feeds back an output of the field effect transistor to an input side of the amplification block(106) to compensate a flat characteristic. A second compensating part(110) feeds back the output of the field effect transistor to the input side of the amplification block(106) to perform a noise and gain compensation. A wide-band output matching part(112) matches an impedance between an output of the amplification block and a load so that a load efficiency of a load impedance is maximized.
