METHOD FOR PRODUCING ULTRA THIN HOT ROLLED BOARD

PURPOSE: A method for producing an ultra thin hot rolled board is provided to increase a draft percentage as well as to solve a trouble occurring when a thin board caster and a roller are directly connected. CONSTITUTION: A cast piece(3) is produced by forming a molten steel pool(2) between two casting rolls(11) and the cast piece is coiled in a coil box(6). An atmosphere control shield(4) is installed between a thin board caster(1) and a coil box(6) to warm the cast piece and to prevent the cast piece from oxidizing in a non-oxidizing gas atmosphere. Also, a thin board cutter(5) is installed in front of the coil box in order to cut the cast piece and coil it around a new coil box. The thin board is transferred to a roller(8) through a pinch roll(7). The thin film is finally coiled with a final rolling coil(10) through the pinch roll and a cooler(9).
