PURPOSE: A device for chucking a disk in a disk player is provided to chuck the disk by a simple structure and to use an optical disk containing the limit and extension information on the opposite surface from a recording surface. CONSTITUTION: An optical disk(10) is installed on a turntable(130), and the turntable is rotated counterclockwise by a motor(120). A screw unit(131) of the turntable is rotated counterclockwise in a chucking disk(140) for being combined to a bolt groove(142). Then, the chucking disk is moved downward for stably fixing the optical disk between the turntable and the chucking disk. On rotating the turntable clockwise, the screw unit of the turntable is rotated clockwise in the chucking disk. The screw unit is separated from the bolt groove for moving the chucking disk upward. And, the chucking of the optical disk is released from the turntable and the chucking disk.
