EXHAUST/SEALING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR FABRICATING PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

PURPOSE: An exhaust/sealing apparatus and method for fabricating PDP(plasma display panel) is provided to reducing the difference between pressure between front and back panels and outside, thereby decreasing the volume of the PDP and stabilizing the structure. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust/sealing apparatus for fabricating plasma display panel comprises a capsule(3) and a container(4). The capsule(3) is mounted on circumference of an exhaust gas inlet of front and back panels and has ports for injecting and exhausting discharge gas on one side. The one end of the container(4) has a port connected to an air pressure adjustment pump and the other end of the container is a nozzle pipe(4a) positioned over the exhaust gas inlet of the back panel. Molten glass is filled into the container.
