BASIC CASTABLE COMPOSITION FOR REINFORCING TUNDISH FLOOR USING WASTE FIREPROOF MATERIALS

PURPOSE: A basic fireproof castable composition for reinforcing tundish floor is provided which raises clearness of a steel, hot intensity, corrosion resistance and also gains economic effect in terms of recycling. CONSTITUTION: In the basic castable composition to repair local damaged parts of tundish floor molten steel dropping spherical part when entering molten steel into the tundish, it contains not less than 10-20wt% of basic magnesia matter waste fireproof materials caused in a hot repair, 4-10wt% of natural magnesia, 1-5wt% of alumina cement, 3-10wt% of calcined alumina, 1-5wt% of microsilica, 0.01-0.1wt% of hardening retardant agent and 0.05-10wt% of phosphate as a distributing agent.
