PURPOSE: A method for converting Korean alphabet into English alphabet, is provided to analyse a Korean word into first, middle and last phonemes, to convert the analysed Korean phonemes into corresponded English phonemes. CONSTITUTION: A method for converting Korean into English, comprises the steps of: analysing each inputted Korean word into first, middle and last phonemes; mapping the analysed phonemes into English phonemes; converting the middle phoneme of the mapped phonemes according to a middle phoneme correction rule; and converting the last phoneme of the Korean word and a first phonemes of a next Korean word according to a last phoneme correction rule.
