PURPOSE: A setting method of alignment patterns of wire bond is provided to automatically select an alignment pattern from input images to select optimum pattern, thereby enhancing man hour. CONSTITUTION: A setting method of alignment patterns of wire bond comprises steps of: inputting the area size of the alignment patterns to a computer; inspecting areas to have possibility to be set as the alignment patterns to select plural model candidate patterns; calculating and making numerical information of the model candidate patterns area; deciding plural model candidate patterns having maximum point greater than the other points in amount of information; calculating and making numerical visual unity of the difference between the model candidate patterns and the portions geometrically similar to the patterns; expressing the adaptability as the alignment patterns using the value of the unity; and setting a model candidate pattern having largest adaptability as the alignment pattern. |
