发明名称 METHOD FOR TESTING MULTI-CHANNEL BIT ERROR RATE IN EXCHANGE
摘要 PURPOSE: A method for testing a multi-channel bit error rate(BER) in an exchange, is provided to correctly test whether a normal function is executed when a corresponding equipment performs a service in a site, and for a corresponding equipment to test every cases capable of interfacing to a switch network, by making a channel allocation in a real call processing and a switch interface of a network performed equally in a test of a speech path equipment in the exchange. CONSTITUTION: A method for testing a multi-channel bit error rate(BER) in an exchange, comprises the steps as follows. When a test demand of a speech path equipment of an operator or an automatic test period interrupt is detected, a state of a corresponding device to be tested is checked. When the device to be tested is positioned in respectively different subsystems, a packet for a test demand is transmitted to a corresponding device side to be tested, and a processor executing a test processing is generated in the device to be tested. When a device to be tested is in a state capable of test, whether every channel which is a test object can be occupied is decided. If capable of occupying every channel, every channel is allocated with an equal system to a real call processing system by using a call processing library, a device control signal is outputted for forming a loop between a BER test device and a device to be tested, and then a loop is formed. When a loop where every channel is allocated between the BER test device and the device to be tested, a switch path between the BER test device and the device to be tested is set up. The BER device rotates a loop by generating test data of a bit pattern. Bit pattern data rotated and supplied through a loop of a channel allocated from the device to be tested are detected and compared with a generated bit pattern data, and then a state of a switching network is decided.
