METHOD OF CONSTRUCTING CYCLIC CONTROL PLUG JOINT FOR ALLOWING DISPLACEMENT OF INTEGRATED BRIDGES

PURPOSE: A method of constructing a cyclic control plug joint is provided to drain rain drops rapidly through a drain pipe. CONSTITUTION: A support slab(15) is grouted on the lower surface of a connector between a contact slab(20') and a buffering slab(40'). After mounting the slab, a pipe(65) is buried to smoothly drain water percolating a road surface through a crack of a cyclic control plug joint. A backfill(70') moves a wall body easily and a granular backfill reduces soil pressure given to the wall body. A polyethylene vinyl film is formed on the lower end of the slab before mounting the contact slab. After providing the contact and buffering slabs, a backfill(35) is inserted between the slabs. Asphalt concrete pavement is performed on the upper surface of the contact/buffering slabs and a road portion after filling the backfill.
