PURPOSE: A device for controlling processor duplexing by using a content addressable memory(CAM) memory, is provided to reduce movement of many data to minimize a data loss and reduce a duplexing switching time, by implementing a writing of only change data in a memory within a standby processor by using the CAM memory. CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling processor duplexing by using a content addressable memory(CAM) memory, temporarily stores data stored in memories(130,230) with a system of a first in first out, by control logic(120,220) within a processor operated by active in a demand of duplexing switching, in a state that the two processors(100,200) are duplexed and operated with an active and standby state. And then the device processes duplexing switching after transmitting the data for writing to a memory within a standby processor. The duplexed processors(100,200) respectively further comprise CAM memories(150,250) and CAM control logic(140,240). The CAM memories(150,250) store only data having a strong possibility for changing, when a corresponding processor is operated with an active state. And the CAM control logic(140,240) search data, having a strong possibility for changing, stored in the CAM memory, and designate data before changing of change data transmitted from the control logic by using the searched data. Also, the CAM control logic(140,240) update the change data to the designated data before changing, and control the updated change data to be sequentially stored.
