PURPOSE: A method for preparing phosphoric acid gypsum plaster is provided, by using seawater magnesia waste, to improve the adhesion and strength of the gypsum board. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises the steps of mixing 100 parts by weight of phosphoric acid gypsum plaster and 5-7 parts by weight of seawater magnesia waste as a pH controller to adjust the pH to be 5-7; washing the gypsum; and calcining the gypsum at the temperature of 130-150°C for two hours or more. Preferably the seawater magnesia waste contains 80 wt% or more of CaO, its particle size is 5-10 micrometers, and it is obtained by wat sieving the waste generated during the production of seawater magnesia with a 200 mesh sieve.
