PURPOSE: A plasma display panel having transparent electrode for reducing discharge voltage is provided to increase an electron discharge path to reduce the discharge voltage of the panel. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel having transparent electrode for reducing discharge voltage comprises front and back panels, a transparent electrode(21) and electrode terminals(22). The transparent electrode(21) is formed on the front surface of the front panel which isn't opposite to the back panel in order to increase discharge path. The electrode terminals(22) are formed on both ends of the transparent electrode. X and Y electrodes(23A,23B) are formed on a rear surface of the front panel.
