摘要 PURPOSE: An LCD with high aperture ratio and projection ratio is provided to improve the aperture ratio as there is no need to extend the black matrix inside the unit pixel in order to cover the counter electrode. CONSTITUTION: A device comprises a lower substrate(20), a gate bus line(21), a data bus line(23), a counter electrode(25), a pixel electrode(29), a common electrode line(200), a first line of the pixel electrode(200a), a second line of the pixel electrode(200b), and a black matrix(203). The upper and lower substrate corresponds each other with a certain distance having the liquid crystal layer in between. The gate bus line and the data bus line limit the unit pixel and are arranged in a matrix form on the lower substrate. The common electrode line includes the first bar and extends in parallel with the gate bus line while contacting the first bar of the counter electrode. The common electrode line also applies the common signal to the counter electrode. The pixel electrode drives the liquid element inside the liquid crystal layer with the counter electrode.
