PURPOSE: An apparatus for testing an ink jet printer head is provided to precisely evaluate performance of printer head and printing quality by excluding all factors affecting the printer head driving, thereby improving the performance of the printer head and the printing quality. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for testing an ink jet printer head includes a base element(10),a head fixing element(20) for firmly fixing a printer head, a conveying element(30) for removing the fixing element horizontally, a rotating element(40) for rotating a paper to be printed by an ink discharged from the printer head in a fixed state, a guide element(50) for supporting a free end of a carriage of the head fixing element which is movably supported by the conveying element, a first driving element(60) for transmitting a power supply to the conveying element, a second driving element(70) for transmitting a power supply to the rotating element, and a control element(80) for controlling the driving of the first and the second driving elements and the printer head.
