PURPOSE: A toy is provided, which performs specific motion and outputs sound when the monitor of TV set or PC is turned on or off. CONSTITUTION: A toy comprises a vertical frequency antenna (10) which detects the vertical frequency generated in the monitor of TV set or PC turned on or off; a signal amplifying part (12) which amplifies the detected frequency and outputs it; a motor (16); a dry battery (20) which supplies power for the motor (16); a motor operation switching part (14) which switches the current supply from the dry battery (20) to the motor (16) for some time according to the detected output value generated when the power of TV set or PC is turned on or off; and a specific motion performing part (22) which carries out the specific motion by the operation of the motor (16) when the power of TV set or PC is turned on or off. Also the toy comprises a vertical frequency antenna (62) which detects the vertical frequency generated in the monitor of TV set or PC turned on or off; a signal amplifying part (64) which amplifies the detected frequency and outputs it; a sound saving part (68); a speaker (70); a control part (66) which allows the sound saved in the sound saving part (68) to be played and to be output through the speaker (70); and a dry battery (72).
