WAVEGUIDE TYPE OPTICAL PICKUP DEVICE AVAILABLE FOR CONVERGENCE OF SECONDARY BEAM

PURPOSE: A waveguide type optical pickup device available for convergence of a secondary beam is provided to make fair a regenerated signal by improving optical efficiency and to make easy the detection of an error signal by improving the detection amount of regenerated signals by receiving modulated beam diffracting out of the range of a lens. CONSTITUTION: Laser beam diffracted and dispersed plus and minus 1 is recollected among laser beams dispersed by collecting from an optical disc(D). The beam is outputted as an electric signal by restoring to a first secondary beam detector(44) and a second secondary beam detector(46). Thereby, the restoration of optical information is improved by increasing the restored optical amount and reducing an amplifying rate of signal. Moreover, a detection of error signal is improved by installing with individually dividing an optical detector(40) for each convergent beam.
