PURPOSE: An indented wire for enhancing auto tire beads is provided to give the enlargement of surface area for the wire from the presence of many recesses on the surface of the wire, expand thus the contact area between the wire and rubber adjacent thereto, and enhance dramatically the adhesion between the wire and rubber. CONSTITUTION: An indented wire is characterized in that its recesses are formed on the surface of the enhancement wire for a conventional circular cross-sectional tire beads(b), such as the cross-section of the representative tire, as specifically shown in figures 2 and 4. Also, the indented wire(1) is characterized by giving recesses(2) having a given depth and width in a constant distance onto its circumferential surface. The recesses(2) are also characterized by forming them with the continuous spiral pattern of their constant distances along with their length direction.
