PURPOSE: A production method of music wire is provided to improve the wire drawing property in a wire drawing process and to increase the surface roughness and the corrosion of the wire finished the wire drawing. CONSTITUTION: A film of phosphate is formed in a stuck amount of 4-8g/m2 on a surface of a wire drawing basic material obtained by continuously performing a patenting process and an acidic washing after a middle wire drawing. A lime film is formed in the stuck amount of 1-3g/m2. A music wire having the wire drawing characteristic is produced by using a lubricant.
