METHOD FOR RECORDING VOICE MESSAGES OF AUTOMATIC ATTENDANT IN PRIVATE EXCHANGE SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for recording voice messages of an automatic attendant is provided to newly record a voice message without recording again a specific voice message for being changed in the automatic attendant, and without deleting other recorded messages when a previously-recorded message is changed in the automatic attendant of a private exchange system. CONSTITUTION: A method for recording voice messages of an automatic attendant in a private exchange system comprises the steps of: retrieving a number of a voice message finally recorded in the automatic attendant and a final address having the recorded voice message; recording an inputted message from a next address of the retrieved-final address; optimizing a memory region having the recorded voice message; deciding whether the number of the recorded voice message is bigger than a number of a previously-recorded voice message; if the number of the recorded voice message is not bigger than the number of the previously-recorded voice message, deleting a previously-recorded voice message corresponding to the recorded voice message number in the second step.
