PURPOSE: A method for interfacing a message is provided to convert a message transceived between boards using mutually different message formats, in a switching system. Also, the method is provided to convert a header of a message by confirming a message format, and then to transmit the message to another board, in a switching system. CONSTITUTION: A method for interfacing a message transceived with a line processor module in an internet truck module (ITM), comprises the six steps as follows. A message temporarily stored in a system queue of an internal is read, and whether the message is a first type of message inputted from an internal call processing task or a second type of message transmitted from the line processor module is decided (a first step). The first type of message is converted into the second type of message, when the message read in the first step is decided to be the first type of message (a second step). A first type of message converted into the second type of message in the second step is stored (a third step). The second type of message is converted into the first type of message, when the message read in the first step is decided to be the second type of message (a fourth step). A first type message converted into the second type of message in the second step is written in a transmission queue, to transmit to the line processor module (a fifth step). A second type of message converted into the first type of message format in the fourth step is output to the call processing task (a sixth step).
