PURPOSE: A manager for a subscriber information in a multimedia satellite communication system is provided to search a traffic process identification(PID)/thread identification(TID) information of a corresponded terminal in a short time, based on an internet protocol(IP) address, when traffic data is transmitted from a transmission data processor. CONSTITUTION: A manager for a subscriber information in a multimedia satellite communication system, in which generates timings(TS) packet data based on an internet protocol(IP) packet data received from the IP packet network, to transmit the generated data to a terminal, and uses process identification(PID)/thread identification(TID) information. The manager comprises a transmission data processor and a central office controller. The transmission data processor is composed of a subscriber information storage(53), an IP packet controller(52), a timings(TS) packet generator(55). The subscriber information storage(53) stores the PID/TID information, responding to an IP address. The IP packet controller(52) manages the storage(53), and reads the PID/TID information, to output the read information, and uses the IP address as a memory address to the storage(53). The TS packet generator(55) generates the TS packet data, based on the outputted information and received IP packet data. The central office controller supplies the transmission data processor with the IP address, with a PID/TID assigned to each terminal.
