PURPOSE: A method for abbreviating dials including dials after starting a call in an exchange system is provided to dial a telephone number for calling or a service number, and before/after starting a call, through an abbreviating function. CONSTITUTION: A method for abbreviating dials including dials after staring a call in an exchange system, comprises the steps of: storing a telephone number inputted and a service number, as well as an abbreviating code inputted from a subscriber, when the telephone number and the service number are inputted for calling a service system; dialing the calling telephone number, when the abbreviating code is inputted with a subscriber's ask for an abbreviating dial; and dialing the service number, when a speech path is made. The service system has an original telephone number, supplying a service base on the calling subscriber's ask among many services during calling.
