PURPOSE: A structure for fastening cable end is provided to protect a vehicle from robbery by preventing the forcible opening of a hood latch by means of breaking off an end portion of an outer cable from a clamp tube for stealing a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A structure for fastening cable end is provided with a cable(10) in which an inner cable(82) is formed to be capable of moving within an outer cable(88). A wire casing(12) enclosed in the outer cable(88) is formed to extend from an end of the outer cable(88). The extension part(12a) of the wire casing(12) is inserted into and fastened to a casing end cap(14) integrally. Accordingly, since the wire casing(12) of the outer cable(88) is strongly fastened to the casing end cap, the outer cable(88) cannot be broken off from the casing end cap(14) and, thus, a hood latch cannot be opened by a hook, for example.
