PURPOSE: An inner fin for a heat exchanger is provided to improve heat exchange efficiency, productivity and quality of a product as well as to reduce producing cost. CONSTITUTION: An inner fin(2) is formed by curving a plate to make a plane part(23), an upper curved part(24), a plane part(23), a lower curved part(25) and a plane part(23) formed in a continuous zigzag fashion. Many slots(22) are formed on the plane part to be arranged widthwise. The circular slots formed on one plane part are formed in the position not accorded with the slots formed on the following plane part. The circular slots are formed in a zigzag fashion on the plate. The plate is folded in a predetermined width to make the slots are placed on the plane part by respective row.
