PURPOSE: A method for transferring calls is provided to transfer the calls between multifunctional terminals having same numbers, by transferring the calls based upon state changes of lamp colors of the multifunctional terminals in a private exchange system. CONSTITUTION: A method for transferring calls between multifunctional terminals having same numbers in a private exchange system, comprises the steps of: if a speech path is formed, setting up a lamp color of a first multifunctional terminal as a green-on state, and setting up lamp colors of other multifunctional terminals as red-on states except the first multifunctional terminal; if a holding key is controlled from the first terminal in a state of a telephone line of the first multifunctional terminal being engaged, holding a corresponding call, and setting up lamp states of other multifunctional terminals as green-blinking states, then setting up lamp states of other multifunctional terminals as red-blinking states; if a predetermined key is controlled from a second multifunctional terminal, delivering a setup message to a second multifunctional call controller in a main processor, through a multifunctional interface from the second multifunctional terminal; if the setup message is a message for the hell call, delivering a pickup message for the hell call to all multifunctional call controllers, which correspond to the multifunctional terminals using same telephone numbers except the second multifunctional call controller; making the second multifunctional call controller set up a speech path with the second multifunctional terminal through the multifunctional interface, and request so that a lamp color of the second multifunctional terminal can be set up as a green-on state; and making the all multifunctional call controllers request, so that lamp colors of the multifunctional terminals corresponding to the multifunctional interface can be set up as red-on states.
