APPARATUS FOR REMOVING ORGANIC MATTERS IN UNDERGROUND WATER

PURPOSE: A treating apparatus for removing organic matters is provided, which is characterized in that optical catalysts is installed to disintegrate organic matters using infrared waves. CONSTITUTION: A screen(12) is installed for flowing into underground water, and optical catalysts are applied on the surface of the pipe(10). An infrared lamp(20) is installed to irradiate infrared waves. The pipe(10) is installed to check a pollution level, and comparatively large particles are removed by the screen(12). The lamp(20) is connected to power source(22) for continuous radiation. The pipe(10) is installed in perpendicular style, and underground water flows through the screen(12). Because the infrared waves are irradiates to the catalysts directly, the catalysts are activated, and organic matters are disintegrated.
