PURPOSE: A method for removing organic matters in coating wastewater is provided, which is characterized in that activated carbon is used for adsorbing organic matters. CONSTITUTION: A treating method of Pb-Sn coating wastewater is composed of a aeration progress for removing floated oil, pH controlling progress, removing progress by changing into hydroxide, and an adsorbing progress using activated carbon. Oil components are floated by air, and wastewater which oil components are removed is transferred to neutralization tank. The heavy metal ions are changed into hydroxide, and settled. Treated wastewater is filtered made of gravel to remove small particles, and organic matters are adsorbed by granular activated carbon layer. Activated carbon, sand, and gravel are arranged in order.
