PURPOSE: A compact disk recording/reproducing device of TV is provided to install a compact disk in a television system, and to store a required video signal by selecting a CD recording button of a remote controller, then to reproduce the stored video signal by selecting a CD reproduction button of the remote controller. Therefore, a user can preserve a required television program. CONSTITUTION: A video signal input unit(100) receives video signals. A recording signal processor(110) detects a video signal for being recorded on a compact disk from the video signals, and records the detected video signal. A video signal recorder(120) records an output signal processed to be recorded on the compact disk in the recording signal processor(110). A video signal reproducer reproduces a signal recorded in the video signal recorder(120), depending on whether a user wants. A switching unit(140) selects an output signal of the video signal input unit(100) and an output signal of the video signal reproducer, and outputs the selected signal. A video signal output unit(150) displays a signal selected in the switching unit(140), so that a viewer can watch. A micro computer(170) applies a regular control signal to the recording signal processor(110), the video signal recorder(120) and the video signal reproducer. A remote controller(180) has a CD recording button and a CD reproducing button, to transmit a CD recording and a CD reproducing signal to the micro computer(170).
