PURPOSE: A method for controlling the detection of the unbalance of laundry article during the dehydrating operation in washing machine is provided, to reduce the washing time and to save the consumption electrical power. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises the steps of determining whether the mode is at the dehydration mode (step 1); reading each sensing data from the first to fourth infrared sensors which are set on four inner walls of the case of washing machine and generate the information about the approaching distance to a water-storage bucket if the mode is determined to be the dehydration mode (step 2); comparing the distance sensing values detected by the infrared sensors each other (step 3); and performing the dehydrating operation if the error is within the tolerance interval, and performing the balancing washing and draining operation and performing the dehydration mode again if the error is not within the tolerance interval (step 4). |
