PURPOSE: A process for producing a melt spinning spandex yarn is provided which has improved winding property and physical property by using a mass cooling equipment. CONSTITUTION: A spandex yarn is prepared by spinning a melt spinning yarn through a spinning base and then transporting the melt spinning yarn in the quenching portion. An equipment for producing the melt spinning yarn is comprised of an extruding machine, a spinning head, a spinning pack, a quenching stack, a first godet roller, a second godet roller and a take-up motion. A resin for spandex yarn is polyurethane resin. The polyurethane resin is comprised of polytetramethyleneesterglycol, methlylenediisocyanate and butanediol as chain extender, and has a hardness of 80A and mass average molecular weight of 350,000. |
