METHOD FOR SEARCHING CELL IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for searching a cell is provided to search a cell supplied from a base station within a short time, after power supply is inputted to a terminal, in a mobile communication system of a asynchronous wide band code division multiple access(CDMA) system. CONSTITUTION: A method for searching a cell in a mobile communication system comprises the steps of: accumulating a correlation value for a synchronous channel signal supplied from a base stating for one slot; comparing with a pre-set threshold value whenever the correlation value is accumulated; and stopping an operation of an accumulator and outputting a result value when the result value of a comparator is bigger than the threshold value.
