AUTOMATIC RECOGNITION METHOD OF TINT FUNCTION IN TV RECEIVER

PURPOSE: An automatic recognition method of tint function in TV receiver is provided to detect the frequency of color sub carriers using color burst signals and discriminate broadcasting mode in accordance with the detected frequency for turning on/off the tint function. CONSTITUTION: An automatic recognition method of tint function in TV receiver comprises steps of: counting the frequency of a color burst in initializing to receive broadcasting signals after mode conversion; discriminating whether the counted frequency is the color burst frequency of NTSC mode; turning on the tint function in case of NTSC mode; and turning off the tint function if not the NTSC mode.
