PURPOSE: A reservation method of reserve packet in satellite communication system is provided to prevent loss of important information and provide reserve packet reservation method by assigning usable reserve packet from central control station. CONSTITUTION: A station transmits reserve packet information as an answer signal for a polling signal, if information needing reserve packet occurs. A central control center assigns usable reserve packet to corresponding station if information needing reserve packet is received. The station transmits corresponding information using assigned reserve packet. A satellite communication system for reservation method of reserve packet is composed of a satellite, stations, PSTNs(Public Switched Telephone Network), telephones, data terminals, facsimiles. The central control unit(2) is composed of an antenna, an RF(Radio Frequency) process unit(22), an IF(Intermediate Frequency) combination and distribution unit(23), multiple number of SCU(Single channel per Carrier channel Unit), a network control unit(30), a network management system(40).
