PURPOSE: A method for preparing the tapered toothbrush is provided, to improve a stiffness, a smoothness, a durability, and a scaling effect and to reduce inferior percentage. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of cutting the hair for a toothbrush made of poly(butylene terephthalate) (PBT) or poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) by a desired size; dipping the cut hair into a strong alkali or strong acidic solution at the temperature of 100-180 deg.C just before the both terminal parts of the hair are dissolved to be shortened; washing it; drying it; planting the hair to the body of a toothbrush; and polishing the brush by using a polishing apparatus until the diameter of the terminal part of the hair is to be 0.04-0.08 mm. |
