PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a rear plate of a refrigerator is provided to form a rear plate by collecting residue to be removed when manufacturing an inner panel, thereby recycling the resources and forming the rear plate with a simple manufacturing process. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a rear plate of a refrigerator includes the steps of making a square shape resin sheet(40) by collecting the residue to be removed except required parts, crushing the residue, and heating the residue again during processing an inner panel, putting the resin sheet(40) on the lower molding jig(32) having a first forming part(36) and a plurality of outlets(42) and preheating the resin sheet with an extra heating instrument during a predetermined time, closing the outlets(42) of the lower molding jig(32) with the preheated resin sheet(40) struck to the first forming part(36) of the lower molding jig(32), descending the upper molding jig(30) corresponding to the forming part of the lower molding jig(32) for sticking to the lower molding jig(32), and strongly sucking the lower surface of the rear plate(34) by a pump for air suction connected to the outlets of the lower molding jig(32).
