STRUCTURE OF ABSORBING SHOCK OF FUEL TANK HAVING FUEL FEED PIPE FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A shock absorbing structure of a fuel tank is provided to prevent breakage of combining part of a fuel feed pie to a fuel tank by sufficiently absorbing shock due to a collision by a curved part formed in the fuel tank. CONSTITUTION: An insertion hole(16) is formed in the combining face of a fuel tank. A flange is protruded from the insertion hole to face outward. A curved part(18) is formed on the circumference of the insertion hole in the fuel tank. In a collision, the shock due to the collision is absorbed sufficiently by the curved part. Thereby, breakage of the combining part of a fuel feed pipe to the fuel tank is prevented. By the insertion hole and the flange formed in the combining part, the number of components is reduced. Thereby, working efficiency is improved.
